Very little is known concerning the life of Asher Samuel Levy. He was born in Suriname and came to New York. He had at least two children, Samuel Asher and Mary. Mary married Judah Eleazer Lyons and while Samuel Asher married Belle Myers, the sister of Moses Myers.
